Nobuyuki:Outdoor fashion was booming in, what, 2000?
Masaaki:It was around the late 90's to 2000, wasn't it? When we were in junior high school.
Nobuyuki:At that time, select stores were offering fashionable outdoor items, or smart outdoor items were being incorporated into fashion. I also remember the brand "Gorlite" very well. I started out in the culture of incorporating the outdoors into fashion, so I am familiar with outdoor fashion itself.
I see. What do you think of the aspect of "Aurora Down Jacket" from your point of view?
Nobuyuki:The fabric is thick and firm, and the texture feels a little warmer than the "Aurora Light Utility Down Jacket" that I will wear later. Although it has a stylish design, the atmosphere and silhouette are also relaxed, so I took it as a so-called "outdoor down jacket.

What is your overall styling direction?
Nobuyuki:When I wanted to create a casual atmosphere, a while ago I would have matched it with old clothes or something, but since the down was a nuanced color like glaze, I used beautiful colors. The theme I used as a base was America. I've been interested in American tensions lately. As an image, instead of a flannel shirt and thick denim... , this time I wore green pants like melon soda and skee-shoes. Also, ombre checks like the tops are also something I've been interested in lately . . and then there's the outerwear hem, which is kind of American. I was influenced by American culture when I was in middle and high school through my seniors, so I incorporated that kind of atmosphere.
I think that American casual and outdoor wear go hand in hand.
Nobuyuki:When I was inclined toward outdoor fashion, which I mentioned earlier, I used to match it with both casual and mode. As for the casual one, I tend to match American things, and I tried to dress rather streetwise this time.

I see. How about you, Masaaki?
Masaaki:For me, my first impression is that this one goes with everything. Compared to the other "Aurora Light Utility Down Jacket," I also had the impression that this was an authentic outdoor down, so I wanted to match it casually. However, I am in the mood for a chic and minimalistic look this season, so other than the down jacket, the driver's knit and denim are all in black for a monotone look. When I was thinking about how to coordinate this time, I was able to fit any style, such as vintage clothing, American casual, turtles, and slacks, so I hope that each of them can reflect their own character and mood and incorporate it into their own style.
Is this down more authentic?
Masaaki:Compared to the "Aurora Light Utility Down Jacket" in terms of material, color, and design, I think this "Aurora Down Jacket" is now the more standard down. . So, there is a kind of nostalgia that goes with everything.

I see. How did you feel when you put on the sleeves?
Nobuyuki:As I mentioned in the design, the silhouette is a bit roomy, so it can be worn with a thick inner layer, which is quite reassuring for protection against the cold. . It will be useful for outside location shooting and so on. I heard that the arms are three-dimensional in accordance with a person's movements, and they are indeed easy to move around in.
Masaaki:The hood and neck are also high, so the warmth around the neck is excellent. Furthermore, there is even a wind shield on the inside of the collar, and I felt that there is not a single gap in terms of specifications.
