Different ways of aiming , but they are well aimed. Maybe that's what it means to go through with it.
What did you think of the clothes you wore for the "Tsu" collection, which will start in the fall/winter 2023 season?
. I thought the sizing was unique. I think they are both a large size, but the tops are large and the pants are just the right size, which I thought was surprising when I put them on. I thought it was unexpected when I put them on.
What did you pay special attention to in your personal clothing this time?
Coyote and black are the key colors, so I chose a pair of sneakers that would go well with them. They are a collaboration between DIGAWEL and MIZUNO, and the design is quite eccentric, so I don't have to wear them with other people. I am glad that I was able to coordinate a pair of shoes that I like with my outfit.
I was wondering about the T-shirt you showed when you wore the set-up.
This is a Japan tour T-shirt by three Hong Kong bands that I support, and I am working as a promoter. They are Wing May Yearn, DAVID BORING, and SCAT, so please check them out if you like. They are cool.
The theme of the Tsuu brand is "the clothes of a connoisseur, worn by a connoisseur.
It's "connoisseur" to be understood by others. If you think about it, you have to be extremely knowledgeable about the genre in order to judge whether someone is a "connoisseur" or not. For example, if someone who really likes manga recommends a manga to you and you say, "I like it! I know what you mean! you would need to have a certain level of knowledge. In this sense, I think the theme of this brand is "connoisseur" in the sense that we want to convey the message to the people who can understand it. If the key colors for this season are coyote and black, I wonder if there is a message behind it.
When I hear the word "connoisseur," I think of a foodie, or a person who eats well.
Oh, and by the way, there is such an obvious thing as yakiniku, Y18C.
What is Y18C?
Y18C is a roaster made by Yamaoka Metal Industry. I think that restaurants that have this roaster are good places to eat. I don't think there are many. I check and go there.
I didn't know that. You are a "connoisseur" indeed!
No, I don't know . When a 20-year-old DJ played "The Don" by Nas before, I thought, "Wow, he's so reluctant! I thought, "Wow, he's a bit bitter! I was also listening to it in real time, so I felt like I had come full circle. It's a bittersweet choice for me, but even though there is an age difference of more than 10 years, it's still "understandable". Maybe that's one of the reasons why I'm so "familiar" with the music.
By the way, how is the fashion mood these days? Is there anything in particular that you like or like to wear?
In my case, I have been wearing what I have received from acquaintances and friends for a long time. I don't know much about fashion, so I can't speak highly of it, but I have the impression that young people dress as if fashion is irrelevant, and that is considered cool.
What do you mean?
If you look at the design alone, they are on the edge, wearing clothes that would be sold at a mass retailer, but they are staff members of a highly sensitive select store. The "GENTLE MONSTER" brand's "the glasses" look is an easy to understand example, but it's interesting. I have the image of something that used to be worn by people who were not interested in fashion being sublimated into something fashionable. It is not that I am interested in it, but it is my impression.
Thank you very much. I guess "connoisseur" is also a very deep word.
Yes, I agree. I was talking about "The Don" earlier, but I think that the "connoisseur" is the one who is aiming at something in a different way, but is still able to achieve his/her goal. I think it is something that can only be achieved when there is something in common with something else.
