Eventually, it would be great if they would line up in thrift stores.
Maybe it's too early to tell, but I can imagine these items lined up in thrift stores decades from now.
Hatchuck: The more maniacal the icon is, the more it will work later on, so it must be there. When I consult with Mr. Konno about making clothes, he gives me advice with an eye toward what happens after the clothes are finished. That is very interesting. I tend to think of completion as the goal, but I was glad to hear that he thinks about what happens after the clothes are worn.
Konno: Even if only the visibility is good, I think it is possible for various things to peel off when washed. I have had bad experiences with this myself. So I think that if you can see what happens to the clothes after you wear them, the people who buy them will take good care of them.
Clothes have existed longer than people have. I always make my clothes with the thought that when today's children grow up, they will be able to show them off to their friends. It would be great if eventually they could be found in secondhand clothing stores. I would love to see them in vintage clothing stores like Berberzine or other vintage stores.
