For OKAMOTO'S drummer, DJ, and event organizer Okamoto Reiji, music is an essential part of life. How does Mr. Okamoto-Treiji view the existence of The Beatles?
First, we asked him to talk about what kind of impression he has of The Beatles and about The Beatles for him, while looking at their new apparel outfits. The interview took place at "Sleepless Play Lion," a sound venue in Shibuya that Rage-san usually frequents.


The beige pullover parka is paired with a thick jacket. The brown color goes well with it, and at the same time, the slightly larger size gives it a casual dress style. This jacket set-up was "We had a music video shoot today, and I was asked to bring my own set-up as an outfit, and I thought it was a coincidental match in terms of styling!
(*Looking at the back print of the parka) "It feels very fresh to have the members' faces in this color coding. I had never seen this kind of color image before. The graphics for the Nippon Budokan concert, too, are a bit hard to design. That may be a new point compared to previous merchandising. Combined with the long sleeve T-shirts mentioned below, the Showa-era retro design, which is distinctly different from previous apparel, should look fresh in the current era. The rubber soles on the feet also go well with The Beatles' apparel, creating a casual yet elegant styling.


This hoodie features the Japanese jacket of "I Want To Hold Your Hand," one of The Beatles' early representative songs, on the back, and the year of release in the UK, "1963," and the drum logo on the front. ¥12,100
There is a very good record shop in Hiroshima called This Boy. The name of the store comes from the name of the Beatles' song "This Boy" printed on the hoodie. There are many good record stores in Hiroshima.
