HOUYHNHNM's: Since this is the first of the New Year, Mr. Kojima, please give us your trend predictions for the year 2024. What kind of sneakers do you think will be popular this year?
Kojima: In the big picture, the running shoe movement that followed the Y2K trend continues this year. From bashes to running shoes, the tide is turning clearly.
HOUYHNHNM: The "AIR PEG 2K5" and "M1906R" that appeared in this issue are exactly the same.
Kojima: On the other hand, terrace styles such as "samba" and "gazelle" remain popular. Also, the next outdoor style such as "Hoka" and "Salomon" are expected to attract more attention this year.
HOUYHNHNM: Y2K Ranshoe, Terrace Style, Next Outdoor. Other than that?
Kojima: The dark horse is skate-related. Adimatic" is a prime example.
HOUYHNHNM: And the "low suit" as well?
Kojima: Yes. Conversely, the so-called "hype" type has been toned down drastically. They don't have the vigor they once had.

Kojima: The Sendagaya store will be reopening this spring . It is currently under renovation.
