To be free to move at any time.

- Sae, what do you put in your "Yak Pack"?
Sae:I always have a lot of luggage with me, and I'm happy to have the capacity because I put a lot of stuff in it: computer, phone, charger, wallet, hand cream, etc. I feel uneasy if I don't have my computer with me at all times, whether I'm in college classes or not. This one has a thick strap, so it's easy to carry even with heavy things in it. Also, I often don't stick an umbrella in the rain, so the water repellent feature is just right (laughs).

- What about the design?
Sae:I liked the simple and soft look without being too assertive. Today's outfit is mostly black, but I usually wear a variety of colors, so it would be easy to match even on such occasions. It's a shade that blends in easily.

- is a brand with its roots in New York, and you studied in New York, didn't you?
Sae:Until last year, I lived alone in East Harlem, which is not a very safe area. I think New York is a place where the words "freedom" and "chaos" best fit. There is danger, but more often than not, I felt positive energy. Each person I met had his or her own passion and was working toward it. I was also very inspired. ALLEY CATS is a breakfast restaurant. CATS" is a breakfast restaurant where some customers eat burgers and drink beer from 8:00 AM. There is a bit of freedom in a good way, and it is a comfortable place for both customers and workers.

- We were told that this restaurant has many unique staff members who are involved in a variety of activities.
Sae:I studied abroad in Canada when I was in high school, and after returning to Japan, I began to question Japanese society. Since returning to Japan, I have been questioning Japanese society. a group that considers and communicates social issues from a global perspective. I would like to continue this activity even after I graduate from university.
