To the summit, where a spectacular view awaits.
As we continued up the trail, the vegetation changed around 1,000 meters above sea level and the sky began to clear. We were one step closer to the summit.




The summit of Mt. Kintoki offers a great view of snow-capped Mt. Fuji to the north and Lake Ashinoko and Owakudani to the south. This spectacular view is the best reward. Just looking at the view will make you forget how tired you have been all this way.


Near the summit, the wind was blowing hard and the temperature was low. Again, put on a jacket to shut out the wind. This will prevent your body temperature from dropping.
