With the concept of a "home-like salon," we seek to create a comfortable and uplifting atmosphere that you would feel when you visit your ideal home. The name of the salon is derived from the word "welcome. and is named after the image of inviting someone into your home and providing service. Just as a friend brings a friend to your house to visit, the number of customers often increase through introductions from customers.

The tape used in the store's logo is always found in homes and used by people. We wanted to use something with a warmth reminiscent of home, so we adopted a design that looks like tape pasted together. We also wanted to create a place where we could hold on to our customers' memories and relationships.

Take the elevator up to the third floor, and you are in the restaurant. The interior is inspired by the work of Mexican architect Luis Barragan, and curtains and cushions are placed to create a home-like atmosphere. The styling chairs have had their covers changed to fabric to create a warm atmosphere.

The sister hair salon "norm" has a gallery theme and also holds art exhibitions in the store. Because of this connection, "welc" is also decorated with works by artists they know. The store is decorated with unique works of art placed in various locations.

I requested a short, natural, short style. The manager, Takumi Fujishiro, suggested a hairstyle that would not take long to set in the morning and would only require simple styling. When asked, Mr. Fujishiro said that he often receives requests for hairstyles that do not look wild without styling. For this project, he did not use a combing tool much, and instead went for a heavier style that would not easily get stuck in bed and would look good even without styling. The sides and neckline are naturally trimmed for a clean look. The haircut also looks good with a suit style.

Fujishiro, who believes that the natural hair style is achieved by touching the hair and letting it catch the wind, uses "Modenica Art Wax 4" is used. This is the lightest and softest texture in this series. Its moderate holding power is ideal for natural hairstyles. It contains shea butter to repair hair damage caused by dryness and UV rays, and water-proof polymers and moisturizing ingredients to protect hairstyles from humidity.
