How can we convey our appeal in the moment?
What is the theme "soft soul, prickly eyes" that you are going to start a national tour in August this year, and how does it express your feelings?
Salt Mound: . I had a soft soul, but a lot of things have happened to me and my eyes have become spiky. . That's the image I had in mind when I came up with the title. . I'm thinking of doing more relaxed live shows in the second half of this year. We are thinking about various productions and so on, but we want to make it so that we don't have to work too hard. I hope that we can go around with the same tension as at the Liquid Room concert in July, where we were able to perform with a sense of freedom, and in our true state.
You have toured Asia, made "Burning", and now you want to relax a bit.
Salt Mound: Yes, we performed at Yokohama Arena in April, but looking back, I think it was a tough road to get there. Looking back on it, I realized that the road to that point had been a difficult one, so we decided to do what we wanted to do for ourselves this year. Of course, we will do what we need to do, but we will also reevaluate ourselves and see where we are at our best. After the tour is over, I think we will work hard again next year.

. Please tell us at the end how you intend to grow in your future activities, and if you have any specific plans for your future activities.
Salt Mound: . I would like to be able to perform aggressively even when we are away from home. For example, at festivals, when there are many people who do not know us, I wonder how we can give an overwhelming live performance on stage. I have been thinking about that a lot lately. I would like to study live performances more.
When you are at home, you have a lot of your own audience, but when you are not, how do you feel when you are on stage?
Salt Mound: If someone looks bored, I want to make him or her smile with music. That's how I do it. However, there are times when I don't know how excited the audience is. When that happens, I get very nervous, thinking that maybe not everyone is that excited (laughs).
Kawanishi: . I wonder how we can convey our appeal in the moment. . Because when we are away from home, the superficial aspects of our performances tend to stand out. . I hope we can continue to evolve our live performances in the future.

Salt Mound: Setlists for such events are often made with first-time audiences in mind, but recently I have come to think that it would be good to have more variety in the setlist.
Kawanishi: I was afraid that many of the people at the Liquid Room concert in July were there for the first time, but everyone had a great time at that show. I hope we can continue to perform with that kind of intensity in the future.
