What kind of training and activities do you do?
Yuya: I started running last June and ran two full marathons, with the goal of running under 4 hours, which I achieved the second time. Since then, running has become a habit, and I have recently started going to the gym to work out.

You have run two full marathons in about a year since you started. What was it that made you do it?
Yuya: I was having a drink with a local friend and he said he was going to try a full marathon this year, so I thought I'd give it a try too.
It seems like a pretty high hurdle, but I'm amazed that you are able to overcome it. Were you always good at running?
Yuya: I'm not a big fan of long distances. Rather, I decided to take on this challenge because it was hard for me. I feel that I can grow more if I dare to do hard things. As an actor, I tend to feel down during the period when I don't have a project lined up, but since I started running, I feel like I've made a little more progress than on days when I don't do anything, and that gives me confidence.

Have you ever heard of the brand "Everlast" that you are wearing now?
Yuya: Yes, I do have a pair of training pants. I also have a pair of vintage training pants. The logo on the pants is iconic, and I had the image of a historical boxing brand.
Why did you choose this parka?
Yuya: I like the tension that I can wear before and after training. I usually prefer to wear a so-called normal T-shirt for exercise rather than tech wear. This hoodie is great to use because the fabric is firm enough to keep my body cool even in an air-conditioned gym, and the design is such that I can go straight to my next appointment.

What do the brand's themes of "strength" and "beauty" mean to you?
Yuya: Every runner I saw at the full marathon looked strong and tough. Even the way they collapsed after reaching the finish line, I thought they were so beautiful. I felt like they were my friends because I knew how tough it was. I thought that the strength to challenge something looks beautiful.
