A beautiful expression of vintage clothing taste.
-The second outfit features an ombre plaid shirt as the star of the show. Why did you choose this shirt?
Uchiyama: It was the most in line with my tastes. It's easy to match with the black denim pants I've been wearing a lot lately, and I like the vintage look of the ombre check. If you want, I have a similar item. But I was interested in the fact that the material is different from that. The fabric has a sheen to it, and it looks beautiful. It has a fall, so I can wear it without tucking it in, even if it is a little big.

-It looks different from an old ombre check shirt.
Uchiyama: It's nice to be able to wear ombre checks in clean condition, because with old clothes there is damage. There are times when it's not a good idea to wear something that is too tattered for work. It would be good for such situations.

-Is there any way to create a cozy look when wearing a plaid shirt?
Uchiyama: First of all, I think it is easy to put together if you pick up the color of the checked shirt with the pants. Also, you can open the buttons or roll up the sleeves to give a loose look. If the collar is turned up and then slightly folded, it will give the impression of being worn in. Compared to other check patterns, ombre checks are not too assertive, so I think they are easy to wear.
