We are planning to open a store in a less crowded area.
- What is your outlook for the future? Will you continue to open new stores?
Takagi:Yes, we do. Including relocations, we plan to open two to three new stores per year. In addition, we would like to open stores not only in high-traffic areas such as Shinjuku and Kobe, but also in places where there are few pedestrians. We want to create the image of a destination store that is tucked away in a place slightly removed from the city, so that people will go out of their way to get there. Inside the store, customers can relax on the sofa with a cup of coffee, or try on clothes until they are satisfied with the rich customer service they receive. We would like to meet the needs of customers who want to enjoy shopping at a leisurely pace.
