There are a lot of tools in the store. Do you do repairs as well?
Hino: Simply put, we are a bicycle shop in town that accepts anything and will consult with you on any repair. We also repair mama-charis, so the neighborhood grandparents are also regular customers. Of course, we also sell old frames and complete bikes.
What kind of frames do you mainly deal with?
Hino: I buy mainly mountain bike frames from the 80's and 90's. I always liked pisto bikes, but one day I got into this genre.
Why is that?
Hino: Mountain biking was originally born in the 1970s when American hippies converted battered beach cruisers to compete for time down mountain trails. Once I learned that the hippies were the inspiration for mountain biking, I felt an affinity with skate culture, and I became captivated by mountain biking. That's why my store has frames in this genre.

What do you enjoy most about running a store?
Hino: We are happy when customers respond well to rare frames and parts that are not easily seen. For example, the grips of "OGK" from the 80s that we have in the store now. You don't see deadstocks like that very often.
There seems to be a lot of maniac stuff in the store. What are your future goals for the store?
Hino: It will be a little while before I can realize this, but I would like to set up a store in a larger place from my current 7-mat store. If I am alone, I have to keep customers waiting, so if I can hire staff in a larger store, I should be able to handle them more efficiently. By having a larger store, I can naturally increase my product lineup. There are still things I would like to sell, such as frame bags and supporting brand clothing.

What kind of clothes do you wear at the store?
Hino: I am not good at separating my personal and work clothes, so I always wear work pants, although they are basically the same whether I am skating or working. My feet at work are basically black shoes.
How did you feel when working in Mizuno's "Tech Shield Tapered Pants"?
Hino: While I wear work pants at work, the soft fabric of these pants made it easy to bend my knees and comfortable while working. The color tone is also dark, so I appreciate that even if they get dirty, it doesn't bother me that much.
