Why am I so drawn to PUEBCO's products? The cool pictures on the website, the reasonable prices, the product development that goes beyond expectations, etc. But first of all, the appeal of the products themselves, which is not found anywhere else, is outstanding. But first of all, the products themselves are outstandingly appealing, and you won't find them anywhere else. Where do Puebco's products' excellent design, texture, and appearance come from? We will explore the inner workings of Puebco's products, using what we have seen in India and the words of the president of Puebco as clues.

The Beginning of Puebuco and the Indian Prequel.

Puebco was established about 17 years ago.

The brand began in China with the creation of "ARTIFICIAL BIRDS," bird objects that are still sold today as longtime sellers.

ARTIFICIAL BIRDS" are realistic bird sculptures made from recycled feathers discarded at poultry processing plants. In addition to the owl in the photo, there are eagles, hawks, parrots, and flamingos. They are said to be popular among bird lovers who prefer the real thing.

I decided to make it anyway. I thought about selling it later.

Although they produced a large quantity, they had not yet decided on a wholesaler. After a lot of sales and marketing, he successfully sold all of them. Then, thinking about what to do next, a product from India caught his eye.

Currently, Puebko is produced in India and China. India makes its products by hand, while China makes its products by machine. I saw an Indian product at an exhibition that had a completely different texture from the products made in other countries. I thought, "This could be an interesting product.

And it was 15 years ago that Mr. Tanaka came to India with great enthusiasm. However, he says he was constantly cheated in the first two years. Simply put, he was ripped off and made a sucker out of India, a country he knew neither right nor left. You see, this is a very Indian episode.

The start is the worst. But how could you hate India there and not give up?

To be honest, I hated it," he said at the time. But if I quit then, I would have ended up hating India. It would have been frustrating to go home defeated. I decided that if I was going to give up, I would do it until I liked it.

At first glance, it sounds mean-spirited. But Mr. Tanaka may in fact have been called to India. Because then a fateful encounter with India awaited him far away in Paris.

When I went to an international exhibition of general merchandise in Paris, I met Manoj and Mukesh, the two people who are currently contracted to produce for Puebco. Actually, it was Manoj who was at the company I was cheated out of, but he was the only one who was friendly to me from the beginning. He came all the way to Paris to meet me to tell me that he had quit that company and started a new company. He showed me what they had created, and I bought his passion enough to come to Paris, and we decided to work together.

Today, Mr. Manuj travels around India with Mr. Tanaka to search for materials for Puebco's products. Meanwhile, Mukesh is stationed in Jodhpur, India, where Puebco's production is based, and supports Puebco from the administrative side.
