40,000 people were excited to touch the new gear and catch yellowtail. Hui-Nam Fishing Club enjoyed Osaka very much.

Huinamu Fishing Club went to "FISHING SHOW OSAKA" again this year following last year! This is a rare opportunity to see and touch the new fishing tackle released by each manufacturer this year. We were excited to see what kind of surprises awaited us. And if you go all the way to Osaka, you should also go fishing. This time, I invited my friends from Osaka and we spent two days together fishing for yellowtail and checking out the new gear, and the fun just spilled over.

Yellowtail? It's time for the big catch!

We have moved on a great deal and come to the vicinity of Awaji Island. Here we started fishing again. Then, Matchan's rod was bouncing!

I finally caught a yellowtail! Yellowtail, however, are a fish that grows up in the world, so they are called differently depending on their stage of growth. This size is called hamachi. In addition, the terminology is different in the Kansai and Kanto regions, which makes it a bit confusing. In the Kanto region, it is called inada. Anyway, it is the first one!

Macchan: I landed it on the bottom and after about 3 reels, it hit. The pull was so strong that if it had been a bass, I would have caught a 55-centimeter fish. It gave me confidence that fishing in the Yodogawa River would work in the ocean as well (laughs).

Then, Ikemoto's rod also reacted. A school of fish was nearby, and it was time to go!

Mr. Saisu, who was swimming, also got a hit, and so did Mr. Benan's and Mr. Murayama's jigs.

Saisu: I had been taught that if you immediately awash when you get a bite, the bite will be shallow and you won't be able to catch it. I tried to follow his advice, but it was difficult because I was tempted to awash.

Benin: I was moving the jig while making changes and caught it. I would like to push a little more and try to increase the size of the fish.

Murayama: The pull is strong and the fishing is worthwhile. Bluefish are fun because when someone catches a fish, you can catch them one after another.

The boat is filled with excitement after a triple hit. Not wanting to miss out on this opportunity, the angler's hands tighten around the rod. Komatsu's swimming was also done without a moment's delay.

This is a whitebait, upsized from yellowtail. If you are in the Kanto area, it is a warasa.

Komatsu: It was a crazy pull. I reeled it up to where I could see it, but it dove. I was repeating it 3 times and I was so nervous. I am very happy with its size!

The rush ended here. We moved to a new point, but ...... still continued! The first fish caught at the next point was by Mr. Murayama. It was a Mackerel! And then Nakai-san's jigging.

Nakai: It was like having a jig snatched from you (laughs). It was exhilarating. The pull was so strong, I thought it would be bigger. I'm going to catch another one.

Next to him, Mr. Benan also got a hit! Nakai-san landed a yellowtail in one hand.

Ishii's rod, which had been switched from sabiki to jigging, also responded.

This is masaba!

Ishii: Everyone was starting to catch fish by jigging, so I changed from sabiki. I caught my first mackerel. At least I caught one, which was a relief.
