Goro mentioned earlier that the sizing of Kagami-san's clothes is good.
Kagami: When I look in the mirror, it's whether or not it fits. If it doesn't, I don't like it, so I only wear that kind of clothes.
I have the image that your tops are large and your bottoms are narrow.
Kagami: It's been quite a long time. I ride a bicycle, and if my pants are too thick, the hem will catch.
Nakatsu River: Does that mean you survived? Did you have to weed through a lot of clothes, or are the only clothes left in Kagami-san's wardrobe the ones that survived the fierce competition?
Kagami: Yes, a hard fight. I have so many clothes, you'd be surprised what you can find in my wardrobe.
Do you have a collection? Even if you don't wear them, you bought them.
Kagami: I used to buy things even if I didn't wear them. I would buy something if I had the chance, but I'm in my fifties now, so it's tough. I always end up wearing the same clothes. When I find clothes that fit me well, I buy them in bulk, so I have a lot of jeans that I wear all the time. I have a lot of jeans that I wear all the time. The colors and sizes are slightly different depending on the age, but when they fit me perfectly, I buy them all at once.

Kagami: Yes, yes! To put it well (laughs)!
How many pairs of jeans do you have?
Kagami: I think I have less than 20 pieces. I've been wearing this many pairs of shoes, but I haven't been approached by any of the brands. That's strange.

Did you choose the best ones out of the 20 or so that you sampled?
Nakatsu River: I asked Kagami to bring some of her favorites.
Kagami: The ones with good color fade.
Nakatsu River: Based on that, I adjusted the silhouette so that I could also wear them. The reason why Kagami-san is so fashionable is because he knows what silhouettes suit him. So, even if we were to wear the same item as it is, we would not be able to wear it as well as Ms. Kagami. Therefore, we made the waist relaxed so that anyone can look like Ms. Kagami to some extent.
The model used for the look also looked just like Kagami-san.
Nakatsu River: His name is Hala-kun, and he was introduced to me by a friend. He is a model from Osaka, and since he was moving to Tokyo, he asked me to be a good friend to him, so we exchanged Instagram accounts. I thought it would be a perfect match for this project, so I contacted him.
Kagami: They look so much alike.
Nakatsu River: You could be considered a son.
Kagami: In fact, I had a son! (laughs). When I was young, my eyes were really droopy, like Hara-kun's. But as I got older, gravity got the better of me and I started to droop more and more. But as I got older, gravity got the better of me and they started to droop.
Nakatsu River: Once upon a time, when Kagami was a model for a magazine, she was just like that.
In the photo, you were on the slopes.
Kagami: That was all Goro's idea.
Nakatsu River: I asked models dressed as Kagami-san to do things that Kagami-san would never do (laughs).
Kagami: There was also the idea of riding the loop instead of the slopes (laughs).
Even the way you wear the hat is Kagami-san, isn't it?
Nakatsu River: It's a bit oblique, isn't it?
Kagami: I've been wearing this since I was a child. When I went home to my parents' house and looked at pictures, I saw that I was wearing exactly the same thing as I do now (laughs).
So you are saying that you feel comfortable with that angle?
Kagami: Oh, yeah! I feel right at home! I just don't feel comfortable unless it's here. I can't wear it in the middle, and I can't wear it at an angle to the opposite side. I used to wear it like this because I used to play baseball. I was sometimes scolded by the coach, who told me to wear it straight. But in the end, I ended up wearing it like this. If I walked around wearing it straight, I don't think anyone would notice.
You also made that hat, didn't you?
Kagami: This is the same brand as the jeans. These are the same brand as the jeans, and are about 25 years old. I bought the black and beige ones, but they were falling apart, so I gave them to a friend and had them made.
How many did you make?
Kagami: 20 pieces.
Isn't that too much (laughs)?
Kagami: That's right (laughs).
You wear faded T-shirts, but don't you ever think of replacing them with new ones?
Kagami: I like the way it looks. It must take a long time to grow up from new to this. I have about 13 T-shirts of the same brand, and they are piled up in the T-shirt section.
Nakatsu River: Do those 13 cards rotate?
Kagami: I only wear two or three pieces that are piled on top (laughs). Do you have that kind of obsession, too, Goro?
Nakatsu River: Yes, there is. I like to wear this T-shirt under my parka, for example. I wash my clothes every day, and in my case, I put them in the dryer. I do hang up my clothes, though. I like white T-shirts, so I replace them with new ones when they become dirty. I am like Kagami-san in that I wear the same thing all the time.
Kagami: It's true that Goro-san has never changed.
Nakatsu River: My mood changes depending on the time of year. But I like clothes, so I buy a lot, and I have a lot of clothes I don't wear. If I only had clothes to wear, I might feel uneasy.
