The mind of an interesting person is always full of interesting things.
How do you feel about this collaboration?
Kagami: Goro-san has interesting ideas, and they come out very quickly. You can't understand that kind of thing until you actually work together.
You are rather quick to come up with ideas, aren't you, Mr. Kagami?
Kagami: Yes, yes. So it was easy to match the rhythm, and it was very easy to work with them. If you are fast and the other person is the type that takes time to think things through, it is easy for a rift to develop. Goro is fast, and his ideas are unique, so it was great. But at the same time, he was very particular about the processing.
Nakatsu River: I had an idea in my mind that "this is what Kagami-san is known for. I had an idea the day after I heard about the project. However, it might have been just an idea, so I let it sit for a while. If no further ideas came to mind by the next meeting, I would just go with it. In the end, that is sometimes the best way to go. Of course, there are times when we have to take our time to refine an idea and brush it up.
Kagami: Does that happen in other projects? Like being told, "Please think about it some more."
Nakatsu River: Yes, I have. Since then, I've tried not to put it out until the last minute (laughs).
Kagami: You know, the kind of thing that makes it look like you're thinking. I often use that technique myself (laughs). (Laughs.) I think the key is to come up with an idea quickly and keep it fresh.
Nakatsu River: Kagami, you often talk in the media about how you "think about all kinds of things on a regular basis. I often think about the brands I like, even when I am not working. Then, when I happen to get a chance to talk about something like this, I often come up with an idea that I had been thinking about.
Kagami: That's a good point!

Kagami: That's really it. It's good to always have a lot of things on your mind, not just think about it after you're told the subject. I always have my head on a swivel, so I can come up with an answer right away. I can't come up with good ideas if I say, "I'll take it home and think about it. An interesting person's head is always full of interesting things.

Kagami: Expectations? I'm already very happy just to be placed in Dover. I hope it will sell like Goro's power (laughs).
Nakatsu River: Dover has many different types of customers, and people who have never come in contact with Kagami-san or "sepabus" may pick up the items with a different interpretation. Inbound customers might coordinate their outfits in crazy ways. Or they might match high-brand clothes with "sepabas. I would be happy to see such a never-before-seen scene.
Kagami: Do you have any beautiful ones?" (laughs).
Nakatsu River: It would be great if they thought it was a B product (laughs).
