What is Wool Mark Certification?

The Wool Mark has a history of over 60 years and is the most well-known certification of quality for wool products in the world. Only wool (blended) products that meet strict quality standards and a new wool blend are allowed to use the Wool Mark. The Wool Mark is administered by the Woolmark Foundation, a non-profit organization that works with fashion industry partners around the world to promote the benefits of natural, sustainable, renewable, and sustainable wool on behalf of sheep farmers, while promoting awareness and research and development of Australian merino wool in its offices around the world. The Woolmark Company. It is. Mizuno's 365 All-in-One Merino Wool series is the first item in the world to receive both "Merino Perform" and "Total Easy Care" certifications simultaneously. In order to obtain these certifications, the fibers must be tested for fineness, which determines comfort, and this product, which has received both certifications, can be washed and dried despite the use of fine wool fibers.

PROFILE

Mr. Honzawa started the business in 2018 and incorporated it in 2019 as Inase Koumuten. He has worked on beauty salons, restaurants, apparel stores, and other stores. One example is "Under the Sun" in Ikejiri-Ohashi and "Good Thing (UNDER THE SUN" in Ikejiri-Ohashi, "GOODTHING" in Sendagaya, and "moves," the flagship store of the apparel brand PWA.

-I understand that you are currently constructing a barber. To begin with, what kind of work does a construction company do?

Honzawa: Our main work is design and construction management. Other construction companies often have their own carpenters, but we do not. But it is the craftsmen who are not in the spotlight, who are particular about every millimeter and work on site by hand, that are cool. We dare to call ourselves a construction company because we want to spread that. We do the detailed work ourselves, but it is our job to direct the whole process.

-What kind of customers do you have?

Honzawa: Basically, most of them are private stores, and most of them are opening a store for the first time. We work with them from previewing the property and checking the facilities. Then we decide on the concept and design of the store and start construction. It is exciting to give shape to the customer's dream, and I am honored to be able to help.

-By the way, what were your requests for this barber concept?

Honzawa: In the 1920s, when Prohibition was in effect in the U.S., alcohol was served secretly in a private room in the back of the barbershop, and the atmosphere of that time was desired. I was unaware of this, so I carefully researched the background to find out how many barbershops still exist in New York today, and how many have a similar concept.

-It sounds interesting to learn new knowledge through work.

Honzawa: I do a lot of research because I am interested in many things regardless of genre. I enjoy the opportunity to learn about many things.

-What do you consider important when designing?

Honzawa: I am conscious of assembling the building not in a superficial way, but in an essential way. We try to use zoning (layout) and materials in a way that makes you feel the quality just by looking at it, rather than listening to an explanation and understanding the quality. We also undertake maintenance after completion, and I believe that our strength lies in our ability to understand and approach all phases of a store's construction.

-The site will be hot in summer and cold in winter.

Honzawa: This site is still better because it is underground, but when the windows are not completed in a street-level store, it is no different than working outside.
