Toward the end of my twenties, I was working with a stylist every month. He was very particular and demanding of his editors, and at the time, I had my hands full just trying to keep up with him. However, during those two deep years, I learned a great deal from him, including how to choose the right products and how to create visuals. We worked together on a series of articles for a fashion magazine that delved deeply into classic items. One of the articles featured basque shirts, and St. James was the featured designer. As I recall, I often wore the basque shirts given to me by the stylist as a result of writing that article. Recently, those memories came back to me, and I went to the St. James Daikanyama flagship store for the first time in a while. I chose the "Wesson Loose" navy. It is wider than the standard "Wesson" and fits easily into my current style, which was the deciding factor. When I think about it, it has been more than 10 years since I last wore "St. James. Mark Gonzalez, aka Gonz, recently visited Japan for an art show titled "NO TROUBLE. He is the father of street skateboarding, and even at 57 years old, he is still active and a hero in his own right. Thanks to Mr. Hayashi of "The Last Gallery," who produced the art show, I was able to conduct a valuable interview with him. He has been working on a series of articles on Gonz in "Relax," a magazine I used to read to the point of boredom, and has been digging around Thai culture for the past few years, as if he still had the curiosity of a junior high school student. I couldn't think of a better person to ask to be an interviewer than Taku. The interview reaffirmed that both Gonz and "The Last Gallery" and lots of them are cool and ongoing. There was no reason not to buy a cap here on the way home to remember such a day.

One day at Stacks Bookstore, Maru-san, the owner of the store, said to me, "Do you know this person, Suzuki? The title of the zine is "RECYCLESHOCK ZINE," and it is a collection of illustrations, text, and imaginary advertisements of rare secondhand clothes, toys, musical instruments, and daily necessities that the illustrator TACTSATO has bought at recycle stores and secondhand clothing stores. A Han's dream.
"We'll do it till the end until we win". What a cool name for a band, I think. I don't remember when I first got to know them, but I remember that Mr. HARMBLOT introduced me to the vocalist, YANG, on the stairs of "PitBar" in Nishiogikubo. I was scared of the band, but of course they were cool live, and I wanted to interview them for a magazine I was making at the time, so I thought I had to get to know the band members, so I started going to their shows frequently. A few months later, I was grateful for the opportunity to interview them, and to be honest, I haven't been able to visit their live shows much since then, but it's just too cool to see them keep on playing live. I bought a pin last month and put it on the chest of my G-jacket.
