The New Balance 990 is a popular model that needs no explanation. This is the previous generation model, the V4.
Each version of this type of model from New Balance features subtle updates not only in functionality but also in design, and this is where likes and dislikes come into play.
Is it somewhat gentler than the current "V5" model? The "V4" has a somewhat gentler feel. Personally, I voted for this one. (However, in the case of "New Balance," there is a pattern that even if you feel that the shoes are a little too high-tech at the time of release, after a few years, they turn out to be the best. 2002" and so on...)
