Painted denim took the world by storm in the late 90's, in the midst of the backwoods boom. As some of you may remember, it is that design that looks like paint splattered carelessly. At the time, it was as if a fire had suddenly ignited, with many brands suddenly releasing the design, and young people were wearing them all over town.
On the other hand, many of you must have tried painting yourself. I have a memory of taking paint that I had stored in a storage room at home and painting an old pair of jeans. I believe there was a magazine that featured how to do it. It was a good thing I did it, but my parents got mad at me for messing up the house.
They say that trends repeat themselves, but it's strange that when I look at them again now, I still think they are cool. The "All Star" by Converse is one such example.
It's not jeans, but perhaps paint and "all-stars" are a good nickname. You can see how strangely they match.
By the way, the size is US10.5, which is 28.5cm in Japanese size. Generally speaking, it is a little big, but "All Star" looks good even if you dare to wear it in a larger size, doesn't it?
Painted All-Stars, not Painted Denim. We don't know if it's a masculine real-worker look or an artist look, but it always tickles our fancy.
