Shorts are probably the best thing to prepare for summer, and perhaps because of the summer-like weather in May, there are already a few people outside wearing them. Too early for that, right? I was tempted to make a fast quip like some comedian, but I think it is better to prepare them early than to wait until the middle of summer.
We would like to recommend these chino shorts to you. They were issued to the French army in the 1960s, and are very rare dead stock! The fabric is firm and resilient, so you can wear them hard with no problem at all.
This is a very basic design in a two-tuck style. You can wear it with a shirt or T-shirt on top, and loafers or sneakers on the bottom. But I'm starting to get paranoid that maybe a boat neck cut and sewn top would be a French connection, but in any case, there seems to be no trouble coordinating.
