LAWSON has announced a new service.
The idea is to start a demonstration experiment of "RV parks," spaces for overnight stays, in the parking lots of six stores in Chiba Prefecture on Monday, July 14.
Rates range from 2,500 yen to 3,000 yen per night per plot. Check-in starts at 6:00 p.m. and check-out is by 9:00 p.m.
The first "RV Park" to be introduced in a convenience store. This is a place certified by the "Japan RV Association" as a "place where you can stay in your car comfortably and safely," meeting conditions such as "toilets available 24 hours a day," "garbage disposal available," and so on. In fact, there are more than 500 locations throughout Japan, and they are being developed at hot springs facilities, lodging facilities, roadside stations, and amusement parks.
