These side gore boots are the result of a collaboration between "Blunstone" and "FILSON". There are three models in the lineup, two of which are available in Japan, and one of which is a product of the U.S.filson.comLimited availability.

The upper is made of a water-repellent material that contains oil, just like Filson's tin cloth. The waxed suede on the "#2535" and the oiled and waxed nubuck on the "#2536" tickle our fancy in subtle ways. It's cheating.

The back pull strap is branded with "Brandstone" and the front pull strap with "Filson," and the leather material also satisfies the desire for ownership. But that's not all.

That is the outsole. It uses the new "Avalon® Gecko TPU sole" from Brand Stone. It provides excellent grip and abrasion resistance, so it certainly feels like a "Filson" sole.

By adopting Filson's iconic blaze orange coloring for the inside of the side gore and insole, the shoe is designed to give a sense of satisfaction even when the footwear is taken off.
