The "William," a well-known masterpiece of "JOHN LOBB," has its roots in the bispoke shoes of the Duke of Windsor. Inspired by the aviator boots worn by aviators, the shoes were named "William" after the second generation William Hunter Robb.
More than 80 years have passed since its birth. The "William New Standard" was launched as a legitimate successor to the "William New Standard".
The wood pattern has been updated from 9795 to 0015, the sole from double leather to Hilly rubber, and the welt from flat to notched storm. The difference is obvious. The rich, voluminous appearance has the potential to transcend the boundaries between on- and off-duty. And yet, it embodies a lightness that defies the imagination. The sole that draws a command pattern is a key point. After all, it will be able to jump over any barriers lightly.

But what you can't miss is the upper. The supple suede, the enchanting color palette, and the plump stitching are all modern aspects of the shoe. This is a modern look, and it goes perfectly with the glamorous body.
I was particularly impressed with the stitching work that created a gentle contrast. The impression would have changed drastically if only the color and thickness had been different.
We have derived a design code that is worthy of being called a “standard.
The gray color, carbon, is also attractive.
