Punk and Education. A talk event hosted by Vermeerist BEAMS will feature a discussion among three unique figures, including Hiroshi Fujiwara.

To commemorate its 50th anniversary—a major milestone—BEAMS has been rolling out a number of special initiatives. Now, Vermeerist BEAMS has organized a star-studded talk event featuring three unique guests.

The speakers will be Hiroshi Fujiwara, Yoshikazu Yamagata, designer at *writtenafterwards*, and haru., editor-in-chief of *HIGH(er) magazine*.

Titled “PUNK & EDUCATION,” this talk event focuses on punk, street culture, and education. Taking London and Harajuku as starting points, the event explores how these cultures emerged and have been passed down through the generations, as well as what lessons can be learned from them. The program will unravel these themes through a dialogue among three participants representing different generations and perspectives.

The facilitator will be Tomoko Inuzuka, director of *Fermerist BEAMS*, who has spent many years introducing young talent from London and around the world and has recently been focusing her efforts on the theme of “fashion education.”

In addition, to coincide with the talk event, the pop-up events by *Written Afterwords* and *Fermerist BEAMS*—which are always well-received—will begin on the same day.

During the event, we’ll be featuring three styles—T-shirts, knitwear, and skirts—created exclusively for this occasion. The lineup, which embodies the brand’s aesthetic and tells a special story through elements such as the iconic mohair fabric associated with punk and collage designs featuring cut-and-paste typography, is a must-see.
