Experience the worlds of DJI and Hasselblad all in one place. Japan’s first multi-concept store is opening in Omotesando.

Should you capture the scene from the sky with a drone, or take your time framing the shot with a medium-format camera? A new spot in Tokyo’s Omotesando is set to open that promises to satisfy the desires of photography enthusiasts. It’s Japan’s first multi-concept store, a collaboration between DJI and the Swedish camera brand Hasselblad.

The store is spread over two floors; the first floor features displays of DJI aerial photography drones, handheld gimbals, action cameras, and more. A highlight is the permanent indoor drone flight cage. Here, you can actually fly a drone and test its handling and camera performance without worrying about the weather or outdoor flight restrictions.

The second floor is dedicated to Hasselblad. In addition to being able to pick up and try out medium-format digital cameras and lenses, the floor also features an art gallery showcasing the tonal range and level of detail unique to medium-format photography. Another highlight is the presence of a premium lounge and consultation booths, where you can consult with expert staff to find equipment that suits your shooting style and needs.

The store offers service in three languages: Japanese, English, and Chinese. Going forward, the store plans to regularly host workshops featuring professional photographers and video creators, drone piloting seminars, and new product demonstrations.

It’s not only a place to buy equipment, but also a place where you can actually handle and test it out, expanding your creative possibilities. If you enjoy photography or videography, it’s definitely worth a visit.
