On March 15, a global event called "New Balance GREY DAY" was held simultaneously in countries around the world to commemorate the release of the "ML574" in gray!

As the event name "New Balance GREY DAY" suggests, the theme of the event is "gray. The venue chosen for this event in Japan was the Terada Warehouse in Tennozu, Tokyo.
A magnificent space covered in gray, representing every city in Tokyo. The "GREY SHOES WALL," where about 250 pairs of gray shoes made by New Balance employees are stacked, is located just inside the entrance. Some of the shoes are extremely rare and hard to find!

The various areas of the venue were filled with a wide variety of performances, including motion graphics and dance by enra, live performances by →Pia-no-jaC← and Young Juvenile Youth, as well as performances by Licaxxx, Yukibeb, KAIRI, and others. The art installations, in which various "N "s are expressed, were created by GELCHOP, Jun Inoue, Kohki, Mana Morimoto, WALNUT, and others. They are displayed not only in Tokyo, but also in venues around the world.

And the color gray, with its rich diversity, is similar to the individuality of people who are different from each other. Let's not be influenced by the world, but have our own sense of values and celebrate life with our own "gray". Let's not be influenced by the world.
So there was a big underlying theme hidden in the color gray, the color of people's personalities. It's kind of cool to think that the color that symbolizes "New Balance" expresses people's personalities.
The "New Balance GREY DAY" was attended by a total of 800 people, including 50 groups of 100 guests selected by lottery, influencers and industry representatives who are making Tokyo's fashion scene exciting! New Balance" and "574" have always been loved, and the history of "New Balance" will continue for the next 50 years, even 100 years from now. It was a wonderful night that made me realize that.
