Next, we would like to introduce an item. The North Face and BEAMS will release collaborative items on June 23rd ( Sat ). This time, a total of four types of collection for outdoor and activity scenes will be presented, centering on multifunctional vests that can be used for climbing, hiking, stand-up paddle, and other activities regardless of the field. In addition to black, camel, and teal, which are inherited from the previous collaboration, a new purple color has been added to the collection for a total of four colors.
OUTDOOR UTILITY VEST ¥20,000+TAX
This model follows the design of the Bentyle Utility Vest released in the 1980s. The vest was made of 1001 TP10T cotton at that time, but has been updated with stretch polyester on the body, 3-layer waterproof material on the shoulders, and polyester mesh on the back. The shoulders are made of waterproof material to prevent moisture penetration and abrasion. The body portion is polyurethane-free, providing moderate stretch and light weight with a firm texture. The hybrid use of water-repellent polyester and mesh fabrics makes this a utility vest that can be used both on and off the water, from trekking and camping to waterfront activities such as stand-up paddle and fishing.

Based on the North Tech Cloth Logo Cap that was available in the 90's, the material has been updated. Like the shorts, this one is also updated with a stretchy material while both side panels are made of polyester 100%. As for the upper panel, it is made of polyester mesh with a double-raschel construction, a material that allows airflow and maintains its shape during the summer months. This model can be used for a wide range of activities from summer trekking and trail running to wet activities near water.

This functional T-shirt features The North Face's classic big logo printed on the back. The double-knit structure uses polyester for the outer knitting yarn and polypropylene for the back knitting yarn. The polypropylene used on the skin side is a hydrophobic fiber that does not contain moisture. This keeps the skin dry even when sweating or wet.
