This year marks the 20th anniversary of the founding of "Pigsty," a leading vintage store in the Kansai region. To commemorate this occasion, we are releasing a book "The T's", a collection of rare and treasured T-shirts. To coincide with the release of the book, a pop-up store featuring rare items such as rock T-shirts, character T-shirts, and artistic T-shirts, which are especially popular among vintage shoppers, will be held at "BEAMS HARAJUKU" from June 29, 2012.
Pigsty" has been accumulating rare T-shirts for 10 years for the production of "The T's". The rich sensibility nurtured in the U.S. and innovative designs that change with the times and culture. All the staff members are passionate about T-shirts and want to share their excellence with the world. This book is the result of the passion of the entire staff for T-shirts. By covering and condensing all the eras, this book is truly a one-of-a-kind work that allows the reader to learn about the genealogy of designs that have changed from one era to the next. With stylist Manabu Harada as editorial supervisor, the book is not only an archive book or a design book, but also a book of great interest and worth reading.
Each T-shirt is a one-of-a-kind item that shows a special expression in proportion to the time it has been grown. The store is filled with more than 500 carefully selected T-shirts. You are sure to find a design and size that you like.
