Shopping while eating! Transit General Office x BEAMS is launching a groundbreaking project.

The unprecedented situation has put all industries in a difficult situation, but the food and beverage and fashion industries are particularly hard hit.

In an effort to boost both of these industries,TRANSIT GENERAL OFFICEandBEAMS, Inc.have teamed up to implement a project titled "Social Distancing Mannequin Project.

The idea is to have a safe and enjoyable meal at THE PIG & THE LADY, a modern Vietnamese restaurant in Ebisu, Tokyo, while maintaining social distancing that brings people closer together.

However, the charm of this project does not end there. Eight mannequins wearing "BEAMS" spring/summer items will be set up in the store. The mannequins are designed to help customers maintain a personal distance from each other, and they are decorated with colorful coordinates inspired by men and women who love the city of Ebisu.

A special team from BEAMS will be in charge of styling, offering a different outfit each week. By scanning the QR codes placed on the mannequins' seats, visitors can purchase the outfits worn by each mannequin from the official online store.
