I'd love to make a playlist in HOUYHNHNM."

The "Sound of the Month" playlist of Team HOUYHNHNM's was born out of such chatter. Each month a theme is chosen, and the playlist is presented by a total of 12 people, including the editorial department and two people who are indispensable in the management of HOUYHNHNM.

The theme for the first edition is "End of Summer" in honor of the month of August. Please enjoy the songs in the order in which they were selected, along with comments from the nominators, each with their own bias!

Speaking of violin, Mr. Katsui of ROVO is a violinist, but Mr. Yamamoto of NABOWA is no slouch either. This is my personal wake-up song at the camp. (Kimura)
