1LDK opened quietly on a back street in Nakameguro in 2008. As the name suggests, the interior is comfortable, with a selection of brands and lifestyle goods. Even before the "lifestyle" format became popular, 1LDK had been presenting the relationship between life and clothing. Bloom & Branch is a well-known store located on Kotto Dori. The select store "Need Supply" opened in Richmond, Virginia, U.S.A. in l996. The location chosen for the first store in Japan was Shoto, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. The store features brands selected in Japan that are unfamiliar to the Japanese market, as well as a variety of brands that are familiar to the Japanese market. The shrewdness of the director, Mr. Takayuki Minami, is evident.
