Paying respect to the past while evolving with the times. A denim that can be appropriately called "new with the past" is now available from "BRU NA BOINNE". This item was specially produced to commemorate the first anniversary of the relocation and reopening of the Daikanyama store.
The new collection, named "Dalatese Denim," is a unique reinterpretation of Levi's 501, the founder of all denim, according to the designer Masahiro Tsuji.
For example, the seam allowance, which determines how much of a perimeter is produced, was learned from the "501. Even the detailed seam allowance is precisely calculated to create a large, loose fit at the waist and a sharp fit at the sides.
Indigo denim fabric made from Zimbabwe cotton has an old-fashioned feel. The silhouette, on the other hand, is rounded and tapered, which has been the mainstream for the past several years. It is a hybrid item that connects the past and the present.
Playful touches are scattered throughout, such as uniquely placed pockets and pocket slacks decorated with check fabrics used in past collections.
The "Darlatese Denim," which allows denim lovers to enjoy beautiful color fading, will go on sale at Brunavoin's directly-managed stores in Tokyo and Osaka and online store from April 3 (Sat). Incidentally, a video of the designer, Mr. Tsuji, explaining this item in person is available on YouTube. Please check it out from above.
