How many times have you heard the phrase, "Beer for now. Beer is probably the beverage of choice for adults in Japan, appearing at every izakaya with colleagues after work, and at every community hangout on weekends and holidays.
However, I don't know if this is a response to the current situation where people are only drinking at home because it's hard to go to restaurants due to the ongoing self-restraint, but "Yebisu Beer," which has graced Japanese dining tables for over 130 years, will hold an online festival on April 24 (Sat.) called "Yebisu Beer: A Brewer's Journey to the World of Evisu.YEBISU Color Your Time! FES." will be held.
This free online festival is an activity that proposes a way to enjoy beer time in a way that is typical of "Yebisu Beer". The festival will consist of three programs, each of which will be held at different times of the day.
Let's take a look at each.
The theme of the 1:00 p.m. to 60 minutes is "Lunchtime Drinking.
Sakura Akimoto, chef of "French Home Cuisine Morceau," will teach us "easy lunchtime snacks that marry well with beer. The recipes are made with ingredients that are readily available, so you can make them on the same day!
The 80-minute program starting at 5:00 p.m. is "Chill Time with a pinch of music, cool of the evening LIVE" with the theme of "cool of the evening".
Reitaro Bizarre and Tendre will perform a special live concert at a special location where you can relax with a glass of Yebisu in your hand. It will be a great opportunity to relax on the sofa with a glass of Yebisu beer in hand.
The theme for the 60 minutes starting at 8:00 p.m. is "Night Solo Drinking".
Kazu Laser of the comedy duo "Maple Chogokin" and Shintaro Uchinuma, representative of "NUMABOOKS" and book coordinator, will give a program titled "Books and Slow Beer Time: Nighttime Reading Talk. With "reading and beer" as the theme of the talk, you are sure to hear interesting stories about their favorite solo drinks.
There are gaps between the programs, so you may be able to reflect on your chores or what was introduced in the previous program during that time. Enjoy each luxurious moment with a "Yebisu Beer" in hand!
