On Saturday, April 3, "HNF in SHIBUYA PARCO", also known as "Huinamu no Furima", was held at "ComMunE" on the 10th floor of "Shibuya PARCO". The editorial staff was worried about how the event would turn out since it had been a while since it was held, but the weather was fine and over 1,000 people came to the event!
This is a playback of the event that ended with such a great success. For those who were able to come, we hope you will reminisce, and for those who were not able to come, we hope to bring you some of the atmosphere of the event. So, without further ado, let's begin!
First of all, why a flea market in the first place? First of all, why a flea market in the first place? It all started with the "Shibuya PARCO" Sustainable Campaign, which started on March 25 as an "environmentally conscious next-generation building. During the campaign, various events were held in line with this policy, and as part of these events, we at Huinamu were asked, "Why don't you hold an event? We were very grateful to be asked to participate in this event.
So, when we thought about the form of sustainability from Huinamu's point of view, the editorial department came up with the idea of "secondhand clothes". In addition to the eco-friendly aspect of recycling, the idea of a secondhand clothing flea market also had a certain affinity for us as the operator of "Huinums," a secondhand clothing mall with approximately 20 participating stores, and the publisher of the secondhand clothing series "Secondhand Clothing Summit" and "So, What's NV? That is why it is called a vintage clothing flea market.
The theme was "New Vintage. Eight vintage clothing stores that are familiar with Huinamu participated in the event, spotlighting clothing from the 80s to the 00s, a period that has been attracting a lot of attention recently.
HAg-Le", "DAMAGEDONE", "ONTHEHILL", and "YOUNGBLOODS" from "Finams", and "instant bootleg store", "Color at Against", "SIESTA", and "danjil" from "So, what's NV". The event was a gathering of the leading stores in Tokyo. This lineup of leading stores in Tokyo must have been unforgettable for vintage clothing lovers.
Every booth was filled with wonderful products! Some of the items were reasonably priced, as it was a flea market. Team Huinamu also had a booth. Many people were seen from early in the morning, hoping to see the flea market.
The DJs who filled the venue with nostalgic melodies of the past. They were not only members of Huinum, but also members of Rhino. What did you think of the music selections by each of the DJs, including Huinamu's editor-in-chief, Mr. Komuta?
After fashion and music, food was next on the list. ComMunE, the venue for the event, was also a food and beverage space, and delicious food and drinks were served during the event. There was also a terrace outside the venue, and the pleasant weather made for a blissful chill time.
In one corner of the venue, illustrator Megumi Yamazaki held a drawing event. Everyone was interested in the cool service of having Ms. Yamazaki draw an impromptu illustration on a photo that was brought in.
Incidentally, the signage and decorations for this event were also produced by Mr. Yamazaki. We heard comments of "cute" from all over the place. The cute and surreal animals must have won everyone's heart!
One of the main attractions of the event was a talk session by Yoshimoto comedian Films Miyato, Tadahiro Ito, owner of the vintage clothing store Ito Shoten, and writer Tommy, who also wrote the article "So, What's NEW VINTAGE? and writer Tommy, who also writes for "So, What's NEW VINTAGE?
I was asked before, "So, what is NEW VINTAGE?" of "So what is NEW VINTAGE?Spin-off featuring SupremeWe have already had a chance to talk about Supreme's new vintage collection, but this time it's a spin-off of that spin-off. We asked him to talk about Supreme's appeal from the perspective of New Vintage.
The items that Mr. Ito brought with him were all rare items that were collaborated with eminent names such as Basquiat, Mark Gonzalez, "visvim" and "Budweiser". Even Mr. Miyatofilm couldn't hide his excitement. Can I go now?
We also dared to take photos of the stylish people who came to the event. Keiji Kaneko, a well-known conceptor of "L'ECHOPPE," and Daishi Nishino, director of "Nishinoya," were also there. The details are as follows, this way (direction close to the speaker or towards the speaker)Check it out from
The sun was setting and the event was coming to an end. For the after 5 DJ time, three groups appeared on stage: Naoto Okutomi (TOMMY) of the DJ duo "The Antoinettes" and "BOY," and Connie Plakton, guitarist and vocalist of the up-and-coming girls' band "TAWINGS. They delivered a special time with what each considers to be new vintage music.
The "Huinamu Flea Market" came to an end with a bang. We would like to thank the more than 1,000 visitors and everyone involved for their cooperation.
