GRAND COBRA, aka "Macho-san", is an iron artist based in Osaka, Japan, who is particular about the material "iron". He is not only active in the underground and street scenes in Japan, but also provides works for major scenes, such as the monument for the Osaka World Expo 2025.
This year marks the 22nd anniversary of GRAND COBRA's artist activities. This year marks the 22nd anniversary of the artist's career, and the long-awaited first solo exhibition in Tokyo will be held.
The exhibition will be held at "CIBONE" in Harajuku and "Studio 4N" in Daikanyama. At each venue, previously unreleased works from 2010 and works created for this exhibition on the theme of "Wonderful Trash" will be exhibited and sold.
GRAND COBRA's works, in which iron is freely formed and inorganic materials are brought to life, evoke the scent of street culture and the warmth of handmade craftsmanship.
