Photographer Shun Omiyama's next exhibition will be held at Shibuya Parco. He will breathe new life into photography with a focus on portraiture.

Photographer Shun Omiyama's solo exhibition held at "midori.so GALLERY" in March of this year was also a highlight of the exhibition.

His next solo exhibition, "Wind Responds," will be held at ComMunE and the rooftop space on the 10th floor of "Shibuya PARCO" from September 17 (Fri.) to 20 (Mon.), 2012.

This exhibition is part of the "SHIBUYA PARCO ART WEEK" and will feature his first portrait-based works.

The works will be printed on fabric and exhibited in various ways, taking advantage of the venue, which includes a rooftop space. Depending on the time of the visit, the photographs will be given changes by the wind, and the photographs that captured a moment in time will be given new movement and life once again.

Mr. Omiyama also sent us the following free verse poem for this exhibition.

The wind responds.
Someone said.
Forgetting is a function of survival.
But we are afraid of it , and we resist and release the shutter.
. the events before you, the unyielding vision , and the world you are in.
. to leave .
. Yet, as we accumulate records, they gradually fall out of our helpless hands.
Where should we put the memories we can't hold on to?
I am sure the wind will respond.
