Hoka's first trail running shoe with a carbon plate is now available. It is called TECTON X.

With its instantly recognizable, ultra-pressurized midsole and outstanding cushioning with unique technology, it has brought about a new trend on the run shoe front.HOKA!. The TECTON X, the brand's first trail running shoe with a carbon plate, will be released by the company, which is expanding its support on the trail as well as on the road.

Inspired by the structural plates of the earth, the "TECTON X" is equipped with a "Parallel Carbon Fiber Plate" for superior propulsion. The outsole is made of "Vibram® Megagrip" with a "Litebase structure" that provides grip on all terrains while reducing weight. The midsole is made of two layers of "PROFLY X™️", which provides high cushioning and propulsive force, as well as a soft landing that is unique to "HOKA".

The upper is made of a single layer of "engineered Jacquard mesh. . This allows the foot to be gently wrapped around the entire foot for a comfortable fit. Another key feature is the adjustable toe shoe hole.

The release will start on Monday, May 2. Prior to the release, visitors can try on Hoka's latest trail shoes, including the TECTON X, at the Ultra-Trail Mount Fuji (UTMF) Expo Corner, which is being held until Sunday, April 24. If you are there to support the UTMF, be sure to check them out as well.
