Is this bag necessary? MONOLITH" was launched in 2020 with such a challenging message. The backpacks, two-way bags, totes, and shoulder bags all have a solid appearance, yet they are made with such functionality that even industry insiders are surprised.Last December, a store opened in Marunouchi, Tokyo.. and needless to say, businessmen in the neighborhood who were particular about what they used were captivated by it.

The brand's second store will open on July 2 (Sat). . The location is along Kotto-dori in Minami Aoyama, one of Tokyo's representative fashion streets.

The store is designed by Kazuya Sasaki of Small Clone, the same company that designed the Marunouchi store. For those of you who don't know him, he has designed stores for such prestigious brands as "Undercover" and "Arts & Science.

Taking advantage of the store's long, deep interior, Monolith Aoyama, the flagship store, was designed to resemble a chemical laboratory. The lighting above each level of the showcase displaying bags helps to accentuate the lab-like atmosphere. . And sliding portrait mirrors are installed in the slight space between the fixtures and the wall. The design of the storage, which is as well thought out as the bags, is worth checking out on the spot.

In addition, two new bags have been released for the opening. Both are based on the "TOTE OFFICE" tote bag, a popular item among business users of the "Monolith" brand. One is the "TOTE PRO M," which has a laptop sleeve on the outside for better gadget compatibility. . The other is the TOTE PRO L, which has been updated in terms of functionality.
