Dunhill's dandy bags incorporate the design of a good old-fashioned lighter.

This July, the Lola Gas Collection, inspired by gas lighters, was launched.

The "roller gas lighter," which ignites by the frictional heat between the flint and the roller, was invented by Dunhill in the 1950s. The lighter, which could be ignited with one hand without interfering with the operation of the handle, became an icon of the era of glamorous motorization.

He turned the roller with his thumb that clicked open the lid. The flowing gesture is said to have enchanted women and boys of the world.

The fine lattice pattern on this 1970s "Lola Gas Lighter" is eye-catching.

The "Laura Gas Collection" recreates the tube pattern engraved on the body of the Laura Gas. Dunhill has been applying various sculptures to the body of its watches, as if they were crafts. This pattern is said to be based on one from the 1970s.

The collection includes items such as car coats, blousons, and gilets, as well as accessories such as silver tie bars and cufflinks that trace the history of "Dunhill," but the most important item not to be missed is the bag.

The embossing and quilting on the body of the garment, which is a pattern from a bygone era, conveys the splendor of a good old industrial product, in other words, the pride of the craftsman.

ROLLAGAS WEST END
The Roller Gas West End is made of embossed full grain calfskin. Hardware is palladium plated with a vintage finish. Silver foil "Long Tail" logo and bar-shaped zip pull accents. Detachable strap comes standard. Front zip pocket, one flat pocket in compartment, and four card slots. ¥118,800

The Rock Clip Roller Gas Backpack follows the basic structure of the Rock Clip Roller Gas Messenger. The main compartment has partitions designed to hold a laptop or tablet. A zipper pocket on the side is convenient for storing frequently-needed items. ¥303,600 (scheduled for release in August)

The recreation is not limited to the body sculpture. The bar-shaped zip pull inspired by the lift arm of the Unique lighter, the latch reminiscent of a hexagonal nut, and many other design elements reflect the brand's automotive heritage. The Unique lighter was released prior to the Lola Gas, and is, after all, a representative Dunhill lighter.

The body is made of European full-grain calfskin. It is chrome-tanned for its suppleness and finished with a semi-aniline finish to bring out its natural grain.

The brand's DNA, which is neat and dandy-like, has been beautifully embodied in this product.
