Stylist Masaaki Ida proposes "MHL. clothes that elevate the everyday" vol.1

MHL." produces a sophisticated and timeless collection based on the essence of military and work wear.MARGARET HOWELLLaunched in 2003 as a casual line of the "MYSTERY" brand, "MYSTERY" is a brand that has been in operation for over 30 years. To propose outfits that take the modern day up a notch, we have invited stylist Masaaki Ida to introduce an everyday, iconic style that mixes key items he recommends with Ida's personal outfits. We will introduce you to new ways to enjoy MHL.

〈MHL.Cotton linen coated coat ¥57,200(MHL.)

Taking the US ARMY snow parka as its design source, this long coat is made of functional material with seam taped inner seams, and is worn in a daringly rough style. The dotted buttons on the front for easy on/off, the large hood that covers the face, the round fishtail, and other subtle and thoughtful details give it a modern look. How would Ms. Ida wear this coat in her daily life?

At first glance, it has an authentic feel, so you can wear it in a simple, standard way, but if you look closely, you'll see that it actually has eye-catching details such as a large hood, pockets, and buttons on the front.

The outer fabric is a cotton linen typewriter material, made of fine count yarn densely woven to keep not only lightness but also a dry touch and good quality bounce. On the reverse side, an ultra-thin material made of fine count polyester is bonded, retaining the natural texture of the outer material while providing excellent moisture permeability and water repellency. As Mr. Ida says, "The long moleskin-like texture of the wool has a strong presence." However, because we use high-quality yarns, even after processing, the shirt has a good sheen and an undisturbed fur look, so I tried to create a chic look to match the atmosphere of the MHL. Tuck in a boat-neck white cut and sew. . The belt adds a touch of "MHL. MHL." has a full lineup of accessories, so the upper half of the outfit is white, giving it a fresh impression. Conversely, the lower half of the outfit is made much tighter with black pants featuring a two-tuck design and leather shoes.
