GRAVIS" was launched in 1998 with the concept of after-snowboarding. Since then, the brand has expanded beyond snowboarding, strengthening its presence in the surfing and skateboarding scenes and penetrating into street culture.

GRAVIS SKATEBOARDING, the skateboarding line of GRAVIS, is now relaunching after seven years of silence since the curtain went up in 2016.

As the first step in the re-launch of the brand, "FILTER," which has been highly supported by riders and artists since the early days of "Gravis Skateboarding," will be reissued.

Based on the initial model, the last, sole, and laces have been updated after numerous test rides and feedback. However, the low instep for precise deck control and high hold, the C9Lv2 insole created through repeated testing, and other fundamental aspects of the "FILTER" have been retained, resulting in a reissued model that can be described as a renaissance of the old and the new.

The Gravis Skateboarding team is led by original member Kenya Okuno as team manager, and includes promising young rider Mana Sasaki, who has been called the Japanese Dylan Leader, Shogo Tanaka, who boasts the best skills in Japan with his aggressive riding, and Joshua Nishinomiya, who is a natural born skater with a strong spring and a knack for subtlety. Joshua Nishinomiya, a rider with a strong natural spring and delicate movements, is also an expert in this sport.
