The long-standing tag-team relationship between "JUNYA WATANABE MAN" and "New Balance" continues.
The latest model is a collaboration with eYe JUNYA WATANABE MAN.

The base model used was the "New Balance Rainier," a hiking boot created in 1982. This hot model was reissued this year, and Ai JUNYA WATANABEMAN has given it a light touch.
The change is in the material of the upper. Usually glossy leather and nylon are used, but this time nubuck and Cordura nylon are used. The retro outdoor look is maintained, but with a warmer feel.
Turning to the coloring, the upper is unified in beige while the sole is white. Most in-line models have black soles, but this color combination gives them a fresh look that is perfect for spring.
This collaboration between "Ai Junya Watanabe Man" and "New Balance" will be available at limited stores in Japan from April 21 (Fri.).
