It has been a long time since the culture of the 1990s attracted attention in a fashion context, but perhaps no other brand has such a mellow cultural background as Timberland .
A pair based on the mid-cut model of the MOC TOE, a classic boot from the 1990s, will be released in collaboration with "the Apartment" in Kichijoji, Tokyo.
The Apartment" is based on the New York street culture that the owner, Takahiro Ohashi, has been fascinated with since he was in junior high school, and handles dead stock and vintage clothing from the 1990s, imported items, and original brands. The brand has earned a high reputation for its fashion closely linked to New York culture.
This first collaboration is based on the "Hazel Highway," the iconic color of the "Super Boots 40 Billow," which was also extremely popular at the time, and the "Moc Toe," a favorite of New York street culture in the 1990s. The color combination of brown and green is reminiscent of the good old American outdoor culture of the 1970s.
The entire upper is equipped with GORE-TEX, with the "The Apartment" logo on the insole and hangtag, and laces reminiscent of the original "40 Bilow" are also included.
