What to wear in fall and winter?
The style of each of the eight popular stores.

With the current fashion scene becoming more fragmented with the resurgence of American casual, Y2K fashion, and tech trends, it is difficult to predict the major trends for fall/winter 2023, but what styles are popular stores paying attention to? To answer this question, we asked eight popular stores that adhere to their own unique styles to suggest their "recommended" styles for this fall/winter season. Please take a look at them as reference for your fall/winter style!

The American casual thrust expands on previous impressions.

(The Duffer and Nephews) jacket ¥59,400, (Marvin Pontiac Shirt Makers) shirt ¥44,000, (Universal Products) denim pants ¥28,600, [Merrell Wantirl] boots ¥44,000, [Tenbear x Universal Products] tote bag ¥27,500 (all)1LDK/03-3780-1645)

In the past, "1LDK" has had an image of selecting basic, high-quality items. This fall/winter, however, the brand is surprisingly going the American casual route. Why this change?

We wanted to keep the existing style, but to broaden the scope of the store, we wanted to offer a casual style that could be worn by adults as well. The answer was a rugged American casual style for 1LDK.

Left: From this season, Universal Products' denim line has a slightly slimmer silhouette. The rivets also have a vintage design, giving them an old-fashioned nuance. Right: This jacket by Duffer and Nephews has an old-fashioned feel, with the threads processed with sulfide dyes. The shirt by Marvin Pontiac Shirt Makers is a pullover with a slightly longer length, making it perfect for layering with outerwear.

Proving this statement are items from the original [UNIVERSAL PRODUCTS]. Check shirts, work jackets, and other items with a grunge feel are key points.

In this outfit, too, I am conscious of the use of fall and winter colors, but I am using a work jacket with a rugged look that has been treated to look like an oil stain as the main item. I used to wear sweatshirts with this jacket, but now I'm wearing an ombre check shirt made from deadstock fabric, which is very typical of this season's styling.

The combination of highly individual items, such as the "Wellness 1TRL" by Merrell Wantirl on the feet, is a unique proposal that offers a glimpse of the new "1LDK".
