Things created by designers from different industries have a unique quality. Shoes made by fashion designers, watches made by graphic designers, cameras made by car designers, and so on. However, it is actually rare for such things to continue to be produced for a long period of time.
In this respect, clocks designed by Danish architect Arne Jacobsen have been loved for a very long time and seem to stand as a classic.
From left to right: Hanging clocks "STATION ROYAL BLUE" ¥49,500, ¥59,400
ROMAN CLASSIC" table clock ¥19,800
The watch is now available in a limited edition of colors.
One is the "STATION" wall clock, limited to 750 units. The clock is arranged in the bright blue-green color of the 606 Arne Jacobsen Suite, the only room in the Radisson Collection Royal Hotel, also known as the SAS Royal Hotel, which he designed in 1960 and has remained unchanged since then. The two sizes are available in a variety of colors and sizes to suit your room.
The other is ROMAN, the first table clock he introduced in 1939. This clock, available in a limited edition of 2,000 units, has a classic beige dial that expresses his love of 17th century clocks, the source of his design, and is reminiscent of the purity of white, which was difficult to achieve with the technology available at the time of its release.
Both colors are available only on this occasion, and their subtle arrangement makes them easy to blend with other interior decorations.
