Have you been to the new STUDIOUS TOKYO and the souvenir store GOOD EDITION yet? A new landmark has been born in the Harajuku/Omotesando area.

Foreign tourists are seen in the city day and night. Although there are various problems such as the weak yen and soaring prices, now is the time to let people know what Tokyo has to offer. In the midst of all this, a new landmark has been created for the enjoyment of both visitors and residents alike.

We would like to introduce STUDIOUS TOKYO, the global flagship store of the select store STUDIOUS, and GOOD EDITION, a new type of souvenir store that opened nearby.

STUDIOUS TOKYO Omotesando

The design of the store, which is sprinkled with uniquely Japanese elements, was created by the SUPPOSE DESIGN OFFICE, led by internationally and domestically active architects Makoto Tanijiri and Ai Yoshida. The store's facade, which resembles a gold folding screen on the exterior, and the tea room in the fitting room express both stillness and movement through space and materials.

The opening of this global flagship store will coincide with the start of sales of four brands, including KOLOR, CFCL, and JULIUS. These new brands are worthy of entering the Japanese market.

Also of interest is Good Edition, which was established next to Studios Second (STUDIOUS 2nd).

This store focuses on Japan's unique culture and fashion, and sells items that are output as souvenirs. The store is also known for its collaboration items to commemorate the opening, such as specially ordered items by ACRAFT, which makes "DENIM DARUMA," goods designed by popular illustrator SHOGO SEKINE, and toys specially ordered by "HUMAN ROBOT. The collaboration items to commemorate the opening of the store have also become a hot topic of conversation.

GOOD EDITION Harajuku

The store design for Good Edition was created by the first-class architectural design firm Kamiya Architects, Inc. led by Shuhei Kamiya. The store is a mix of street culture unique to this location and ancient Japanese motifs.

The recently held "Paris Collection" shows that Japan's unique elaborate craftsmanship is fully-fledged and appreciated around the world. I believe that this store will become such a store that celebrates the charm of this country. Visitors from overseas and out of the prefecture, as well as those in the neighborhood, are welcome to visit the store.
