Visit a classic resort nestled in the forests of the Tateshina Highlands!
First, let me introduce the members. Here are the nine participants in this camp.

From left to right: Hiroshi Yamamoto (Huinum deputy editor), Kazuki Sakaguchi (Huinum editor), Issei Enomoto (writer), Dean Aizawa (illustrator), Mizuki Komai (Merrell PR), Risako Ohata (office worker), Take Kyosho (Designer), Keishi Watanabe (CEO, ONGO.inc), Hideaki Makino (Fashion Running Advisor)
The group was made up of friends from diverse backgrounds who are well versed in the outdoors and culture.

Tateshina Tokyu Hotel, the base of this training camp, is a classic resort with a history of over 40 years. Located at an altitude of 1,300 meters above sea level, the hotel has 58 rooms in the main building and 20 independent cottages spaciously arranged on its vast grounds.
It was early September when I visited. The forest was still thick green, but the mornings and evenings were cool. When you open the window, the clear air flows in, and the sound of leaves swaying in the wind and birds chirping provide background music. It is a moment when the hustle and bustle of the city is forgotten.

Easy access is another attraction. It takes about 2 hours from Shinjuku by limited express Azusa and about 35 minutes from Chino Station by free shuttle bus. It is a location where you can enjoy an extraordinary experience while maintaining just the right distance from the city.
