Used records & used books are a treasure hunt.
Then we went to the record corner, which dooooo was most interested in. BEAMS CULTUART Takanawa is the first store in Tokyo to sell used vinyl records. The genres range from hip-hop to jazz, soul, rock, and Japanese music. HOP, jazz, soul, rock, and Japanese music. Dooooo picks up a few and drops the needle.
DOOOO: I don't go to record stores as often as I did when I was a student, but when I do, I check the shelves I'm interested in from corner to corner and buy them all at once. Even if I buy a record after careful inspection, I often wonder what it is like when I listen to it at home (laughs). (laughs).
The lineup of records carefully selected from a variety of genres "is just the kind of selection I like, and the condition is good," said Mr. doooo. The condition is also good," said dooooo. After listening to the recordings, dooooo was pleased with the selection of Enoch Light And The Light Brigade's "Spaced Out" by Enoch Light And The Light Brigade.
DOOOO: I found this one from the jazz shelf, and I like anything that has a sense of space from the jacket, no matter what genre it is. I picked it up because I remember seeing this jacket somewhere in the past and maybe even watching it. Once again, the content was very nice. I'm glad I had a chance to get to know you again.
After digging through about 500 records, I found a picture record of Boogie Down Productions' "Criminal Minded" by Boogie Down Productions. For some reason, I've always wanted a picture record," said dooooo. Spaced Out" was released in 1969. Out" was released in 1969. It is a floating jazz cover of famous songs by The Beatles, Bach, and others.
Next to the used record section are books selected by Hi Bridge Books, a bookstore in Yoyogi-Hachiman that is open by appointment only. Books, a bookstore located in Yoyogi-Hachiman, offers a selection of books. The books include carefully selected photo collections, art books, and culture magazines, all of which will pique your curiosity. You can also sit on a chair or bench in the store and read at your leisure.
DOOOO: I go to bookstores more often than record stores these days. I browse through books that look interesting. I like autobiographies, essays, nonfiction, and other books that give me an insight into the personalities of the people and writers I'm interested in, and I'm also interested in photo collections that are historically or culturally important, but difficult to publish in the mass media. It may not be good for the store, but it's great to be able to browse through everything here (laughs).
Among the wide variety of books, we found "GANGSTA RAP CASSETTES ~The World of Gangsta Rap Cassettes," which dooooo also has. This is a must-have book for G-rap lovers, containing over 300 jackets of maniacal gangsta rap cassette tapes.
DOOOO: I have two copies; I bought the wrong one by mistake, forgetting I had one. It's really worth seeing. It has a different feel from the jackets on the street, the image quality is rough, and there are many interesting angles. When I see someone's work, I like to imagine why they did it this way. I like to imagine why someone did it this way when I see their work, so this book really stuck out to me.
